Deeply saddened. I remember the first time Ron came to Union. He had a briefcase with a couple items for sale - Exhibition gasket material was one of them. The next year he was back with 4-5 items. Each year it grew to what we saw in 2019. A true loss to the hobby and the world!

Verry sad to hear of the passing of Ron, i did business with Ron for at least 35 years, first in Union and other Fairs and later by telephone and post.
Will miss his parts and support.

One of the things we missed the most after selling our Phonograph business was seeing and visiting with all the other people at Union. We were shocked and saddened when we heard that Ron passed.

I have been seeking Ron´s knowledge on phonographs for over 30 years. I have never had a question he could not answer. There is no one that I have ever known with his knowledge and wisdom. The world has just lost a great man who will be missed by many.

He was just one of those gentle souls that you could talk about anything at anytime and get a good laugh at the same time. He had a great sense of humor and he was a gentleman with dignity and a big heart who is now sorely missed. He was a privilege to know, a real decent human being and l always enjoyed wheeling and dealing with him. He taught me a lot and l always held a happy & healthy respect for him. I have fond memories of him. My condolences to his family and to the antique phonograph society. Rest ln peace Ron.

We are deeply saddened by Ron's passing. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Carolyn and the rest of his family. He was always a pleasure to talk to and he was always willing to share his knowledge and expertise with all of the phonograph collectors. His memory will live on in all the phonograph collector's machines he helped keep running. There will be a huge void at any upcoming show.

As a member of the phonograph hobby I was saddened by the news of Ron's passing. We cannot imagine the grief the family is going through, but do know he is sorely missed by his phonograph collecting friends. We are grieving as well. Ron was an important person and provided knowledge and services that will be very hard to replace. RIP Ron.
