Ronald Tozer Obituary

Tozer, Ronald WEDOWEE, Ala. Ronald "Ron" George Tozer, a former longtime resident of the Westerlo, N.Y. area, died Saturday, July 25, 2009 at his home in Wedowee. Born in Catskill, N.Y., August 18, 1945, he was the son of the late George and Margaretta (Peg) Britton Tozer of Dormans-ville. He also previously worked for GNH Lumber in Norton Hill, N.Y. and trained dogs professionally in the Fort Lauderdale, Fla. area for several years. Ron's hobbies included antique automobiles and motorcycles, and his knowledge of these was unsurpassed. He enjoyed fishing, nature and wild animals, especially wolves, birds of prey and big cats. He also admired Native Americans and their culture. Ron is survived by his brothers, Roland Gilbert Tozer (Janet Studnicki) of Dormansville; a niece, Rebecca Lynn (Marc) Tozer Machlovitz of Phillipsburg, N.J.; dear cousins, Robert (Marie) Brodner of Rochester, N.Y., Candice (David) Beardsley of Greece, N.Y., Bradley (Demaris) Brodner of Ontario, N.Y., James (Glenda) Tozer, Lithia, Fla., Jack (Carol) Tozer, Millville, N.J., Carl Sr. (Butch) (Sharon) Tozer, Millville; and his longtime companion, Gail (Gere) Maugere of Port Saint Lucie, Fla. Bud,
You know how sorry I feel for your loss. Yours and Ron's relationship was one of the most uniquely close and special brother relationships I have ever known. He was your brother, best friend, sports companion and mentor. Ron was a truly one of a kind and brought something wonderful to this world. He will be missed and loved by those who were privileged to know him for years to come.
May your memories of him bring you moments of joy and love and laughter!
Love ya,
Laurie

To The Tozer Family,

Sorry to hear about the passing of Ron. We were classmates and I always remember the fun times and crazy times we had in good old G.C.S. May he be at peace.
