Kathleen Basile and the rest of the Basile family are deeply sorry to hear of Rosie's illness and passing. We regret not contacting her before her passing and not keeping in touch, we found out too late to attend the service. Kathleen and Rosie's mothers are sisters, and Kathleen gives her fullest sympathy to her cousin's family.

Syreeta, Louis and Rosa,

Your mom was the first person I met from Big Brothers/Big
Sisters. She immediately made me feel welcome in her home. She always made me feel like a part of her family. It is a tribute to her that she has 3 wonderful children. She will be truly missed. Please let me know if I can help. You can reach me at 269-2732. God bless.

To Rose's Mom, Children, & Grandchildren,

There are no words to express how sorry I am for your loss. I met Rose at the Arsenal & have loved her like a sister for years. We spoke often & for hours about our families. We laughed so much about our many escapades & memories. I'm still stunned that I will not be able to talk to her anymore when I call her number. It hurts my heart that we will not celebrate our 51st birthdays together. I'll love & miss you forever, Rose! Happy Birthday! Until we meet again...

Syretta, Louie and Rosa: I was shocked to find out about your mom's passing. She was a wonderful person and I know first hand what a great mother she was to you three. When you were young ( I know syreeta may remember) and lived on the second floor on Congress Street, your mom was always cooking for you guys (whatever you wanted and sometimes to please all three of you, she made three differnet meals). She consistantly cleaned the house (yes, even your bedrooms cause you were too busy playing to do it). She wanted you three to be KIDS and have a fun. She gave you guys her all and did her best to give you three a good life. I saw her about a year ago, and all she talked about was how good all of her children were doing and how proud she was of all three of you. She also told me about her grandchildren and how much she loved each of them. I pray that God will comfort you at this very difficult time in your lives. I pray that you hold your memories of her close to your heart. That way she will always be with you. I know she will be looking down and keeping an eye on all of you because thats what she always did here on earth. She was a great person and will be truly missed. God Bless You and Stay Strong. I know that's what she would want you to do. You always made her proud and I am sure you will continue to do just that.

Rosa,
Thoughts and prayers to you and your family. It seems like yesterday she was yelling at us for being loud and keeping her up while we would have minnie food fights in your bedroom, when really it was well over ten years ago. My deepest sympathies during this very difficult time. Love you always
