I learned of Ruth's passing, after the fact. She and Milt were my next-door neighbors in Berne, when I lived there from 1968-1971 before moving to Tucson, AZ. Later, Milt and I rediscovered each other by accident, and since then, have never lost touch. They were the best-ever neighbors, together with 'Dirk,' my 'loaner dog,' through thick and thin, SNOW up to our ears, and so many good shared conversations. RIP, Ruth ... with love always. Elaine Cummings, Tucson, AZ.

Hello Milton, John and I are thinking of you at htis time. You are in our prayers. We remember Ruth as happy wonderful woman who was always there when we needed her. She was always available to babysit, teach SS, VBS, Work on dinners, and we only have fond memories of the two of you. Our little "kids" loved going to your house for visits. I remember the icestorm when the two of you took in the Meyer clan while there was a 5 day ice storm and no electricity. One of our finest memoires of your help.

We were so sorry to hear about Aunt Ruth's death. It is impossible for us to come north for the funeral, but our thoughts and prayers will be with all of you. She was a wonderful Aunt.

Milton and family,
I am saddened to read of Ruth's passing. I have such fond memories of her and all of your family from my growing-up years in Berne and in my visits "back home." She will be missed by many.

Dear Milt, How sorry I am to hear of Ruth's passing. I will never forget you two as the "best neighbors" when I lived next door in Berne, nor "Dirk" your wonderful big dog as my best playmate in the snow. It has been many years since I moved to Tucson, Arizona, but there are some memories that will not fade. I will never forget your friendship to me! Please find peace as you go forward. God Bless. With love, Elaine Cummings

Milton and family,
My deepest sympathy to you all. I always enjoyed chatting with Ruth whenever I was at the Agway store and hearing what the children and grandchildren were doing. And, who can ever forget working on all those church suppers? Her smiling face is one of my best memories of living in Berne. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
