Teresa, Anna, Enza & Jonathon,

Once again I am sorry for the loss of your husband and father. I have many memories of him, especially when we all took a trip together to Italy in 1991, and of course at the St. James Bazar. Take comfort in the company of your friends and family who have been there for you this past week. They are what will keep you strong, as well as the many memories that you have of your father and husband. From my experience with the loss of my father, looking back at our memories can be heartbreaking, but I promise you that one day you will find comfort in them and realize how lucky you are to be your father's daughters. Now our father's are in heaven together drinking wine and protecting us as our angels.

Love, Theresa Giglio

Dear Teresa and Family,

My heart cried as I heard Sal's name at Sunday Mass. He is thought about every day as I look out on the screen porch he built. My Dad loved it. Every Sunday he enjoyed reading the newspaper with his cigar as the sauce cooked while the italian music played. Sal created not only material things but great memories. You are in my prayers.

Love, Kaveh & Geri Govanlu

Teresa, Anna, Jonathan & Enza:

For over 30 years, our family has been as one. We shared so many wonderful times together, created a family unity that went beyond what most people can only dream of having. Back yard picnics, bocci games, holiday dinners that were so filled with love, happiness and contentment, always with your doors and hearts open to family and friends alike. Salvatore was the kind of brother-in-law, uncle, and godfather that opened not only his home, but his heart and soul to anything that he had. His many labors of love in our home and Teresa's will always be a constant reminder of his many talents and generosity with his time and energy. They say that God only takes the BEST. May we be comforted by the many wonderful years we have shared, by the legacy he has created, and may he be your guardian angel always. Love Aunt Antoinette, Uncle Frank, Teresa, Vinny, Sabrina & Princess.

My husband and I are sending our sincere condolences. In remembering Sal with my family we cannot help but smile. Sal was an artist and he designed all that is good about my family's home in New York. I smile when I remember early mornings, hearing the Italian music and the hammer or the drill. Always smiling, Sal beautified our house. We are truly blessed to have met such a pleasant man and to have the memories of his craftmenship in our home. My sister and I spent many days in our childhood watching him complete a project and being teased by Sal. It has been a while since I have seen him, but I wanted to tell his family how wonderful he was to our family and that I am thinking of them and praying for them as well.

I don't know what to say, it was only a week ago when I saw him at the bazaar and I wish we were able to talk longer (but heh, the people needed their pasta!) He was a good man and had a great personality with a sense of humor to match, in fact, he was my favorite! I'm going to miss him teasing me about the watermelon and I will think of him everytime I eat one or two (as I always have)!!!!!!!

Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of a wonderful person.
