Sean Gerard Mullins

TROUTMAN, N.C. Sean Gerard Mullins, 32, of Hicks Creek Rd., and former Virginia and Rotterdam resident, died suddenly on Wednesday, April 28, 2004 at the Davis Regional Medical Center in Statesville, N.C. He was born in Schenectady on October 14, 1971 and was the beloved son of William E. (Judith) Mullins of Halfmoon and Dorothy DiGiorlamo (Andrew) Marino of Palm Bay, Fla. He was educated in the Mohanasen School System, attended Christian Brothers Academy in Albany and later received his GED in 1990. As the oldest sibling, Sean thoroughly enjoyed the special relationship he had with Kimberly and David. Music was a special part of Sean's life. It created the unique bond he had with his daughter, Sage. Survivors in addition to his parents, include a daughter, Sage Duncan of York, Pa.; his sister, Kimberley Jean Mullins of Colonie and his brother, David Michael Mullins of Rotterdam; he is the paternal grandson of Irene Beaudoin and the maternal grandson of Gwendolyn DiGiorlamo, both of Schenectady; he was the loving companion of Delana Sturm of Troutman; he is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral will be held Monday morning at 9:00 at Corpus Christi Church in Ushers where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 in Clifton Park on Sunday from 3-6 p.m. Interment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna, N.Y.
