I remember Sheila as a kind soul with an acerbic wit. Being with her was always fun. My best to Paco, Pilar and the family.

Paco and Pilar,
Andor and I just heard the news and are so very, very sorry about Sheila's death. She was a wonderful live wire and I enjoyed every conversation with her, both in person and over email. We are out of the country and cannot make the memorial service but hope to see you later in the year. When my sister died at a too young age, someone told me: "You have no choice. You love, you grieve. But a life without love is unthinkable." Sheila was an enthusiastic and lovable live-er of life. She will be missed.

Dear Paco,
We were devastated to learn of Sheila's illness, and her passing. We will never forget your kindness as neighbors on FGR! Sheila was a wonderful woman who inspired all who knew her!
Our deepest sympathies,
Cheryl & Bill

Paco - It has been many years since we have seen each other but, starting at the Cape, I have always held Sheila in the highest regard. I am not surprised by all she accomplished and gave. For me, she will always be smart, sassy and beautiful. My heart goes out to you and your family. - Mike Ryan, Rutland.

I am sorry to hear about Sheila's death. When Alex and I moved to Albany in 1974, Sheila was Alex's first friend. When we moved to Delmar, they remained close and when we moved to Delmar, one reason was to be close to the Ottos. Pilar was one of Anne's first playmates. We left Albany in 1985, and time and distance eroded the close friendship of the Milmoe and Otto families. The sweet memories of Sheila and the Ottos as close friends and neighbors from 1974-85 remain and will be cherished forever.

I am so sorry for your loss. I had the honor of being on the Nursing Ethics Committee at AMC with Sheila. She was a compassionate leader for our patients. I learned so much from her. May she rest in peace.

Sheila was a great friend to me in Delmar when our children were very young. Definitely a straight talking woman who knew exactly what to say. She was admired for her wit, intelligence and laughter. I´m blessed to have known her and I wish peaceful memories to her family.

I always had the greatest respect for Sheila. She could discuss hard topics with a warm smile and a guiding hand. Not just for the clients but the nursing staff as well. I am so very sorry for your loss. Fly high Sheila
