Boyer Nielsen, Shirley STEPHENTOWN Shirley A. Boyer Nielsen, 57, of Staples Road, died suddenly Friday, August 26, 2011 at her residence. Born in Cohoes, she was daughter of Margot Scheurich Boyer of Clifton Park and the late Roger Boyer; and wife for 18 years of Wayne A. Nielsen. She was raised in Clifton Park, resided in Albany for several years and the past 11 years in Stephentown and was a graduate of Shenendehowa High School. Mrs. Nielsen was employed at CMP Industries in Albany for the past 27 years, most recently as an export coordinator. Survivors in addition to her husband and mother, include her son Brian (Mariel) McCoy, Albany; a brother Donald Boyer, Clifton Park; sisters and brothers-in-law, Raymond and Susan Nielsen, Christine Nielsen and Mark Nielsen; a cousin Kerstin Blair; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue, Troy, on Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Randall Patterson, Pastor of Our Lady of Victory Church, officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery Troy. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Shirley A.
