Stanley Lacy Obituary

Lacy, Stanley Force ALBANY Stanley Force Lacy of Albany, 71, passed away on January 13, 2014 after a brief illness. Stanley was born and raised in Albany. After attending Schuyler High school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving honorably in the United States and Panama. He then held various jobs in Albany and Maryland. Survivors include his sons, Stanley Force Lacy Jr., and Jimmy Gibbs of Albany; sisters, Antic Womack (Jimmie) of Schenectady and Elizabeth Claudio of Albany; brothers, Talmadge and Reginald Lacy of Albany, Thomas Lacy (Denyce) of Delmar and a host of relatives and friends. A wake will be held on Saturday, January 18 from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by a funeral service, all at Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave., Delmar. applebeefuneralhome.com

My family knew Stanley very well and he was such a nice and wonderful person to be around and would give you a ride to work or any place else that you needed to go. For he was a Blessing and certainly missed by everyone who came in contact with him. Our Prayers goes out to the family.
