Teresa E. Catalano

Catalano, Teresa E. COLONIE Teresa E. Catalano, age 81, passed away on February 25, 2018, at St. Peter's Hospital after a long illness. She was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Teresa Catalano. She was also predeceased by her brother, Dominic and sisters, Carmella, Margaret and Antoinette. Teresa was a keyboard specialist for the N.Y.S. Department of Taxation and Finance, retiring in 1996. She was proud of her G.E.D. Diploma. Teresa loved going to casino's, playing Bingo, enjoyed traveling with her sisters and being with her family. She was a member of Christ Our Light Seniors. She is survived by her brother, Anthony (Yvonne) Catalano; her sisters, Sera Hotaling, Grace Catalano, Marie (John) Drexel, Giovanni Brooks; and also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staffs of St. Peter's Hospital, the Emergency Room and the Nurses on the fourth floor for the kindness and special care given to Teresa. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours on Thursday, March 1, from 4 to 7 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 2, at 10 a.m. at Christ Our Light, 1 Maria Drive, Loudonville. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
