Theodore French Obituary
RENSSELAER - Theodore K. "Ted" French, 86, of East Greenbush, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Hudson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Albany.
Theodore was born May 5, 1939, in Kingston, N.Y., the son of the Late Walter H. and Alberta (Nichols) French.
Ted was a proud Navy Veteran in the Korean era. He then became an Auto Mechanic for Verizon Phone company for 28 years before retiring.
In addition to his parents, Ted was predeceased by siblings, Elizabeth Coleman and George A. French; and his great-grandchild, Austin
Survivors include his beloved wife, Gale French; three sons, Alan (Chris), Nelson (Anna) French, and Keith French; and sister, Carol Saltzman. Ted was also the proud grandfather of Daniel, Zachary, and Matthew; and great-grandfather of Chase. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Ted's funeral services, 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 5, in The Greenbush Reformed Church, 688 Columbia Tpk., East Greenbush, N.Y., 12061. Interment services will follow at 1 p.m., in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
Contributions in Theodore's memory may be made to Greenbush Reformed Church.

I worked for NY Telephone (now Verizon) and knew Ted as a very good mechanic and an even better human being. Ted was a valuable employee, a stand up guy and a hard worker. May be find peace in God's hands.

i have many great memories of Ted and Gail through square dancing for many years..He was a special guy and am sure he will be missed by many....my sincere sympathies to Gail and the family .....
