EAST GREENBUSH - Theresa White, 93, of East Greenbush, passed away Friday, November 28, 2025, at Albany Medical Center.
Theresa was born April 6, 1932, in Middletown, Conn., and grew up in Moodus, Conn., the daughter of the late George and Mary (Bielot) Shea.
She was the first in her family to receive a college degree, graduating from Bryant College in R.I. Theresa was an Executive secretary for Stilsing Electric for many years before retiring.
Terry enjoyed camping across the USA with her family, traveling the world with her husband, and becoming a snowbird with a home in Hobe Sound, Fla. She was an avid knitter, carrying on a family tradition of providing many sweaters and handmade Christmas stockings to her extended family.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 71 years, Albert White, Sr.; her five children, Thomas A. White, Daniel G. (Barbara) White, James (Krissa) White, Deborah (Kent) Johnson, and Albert (Jaclyn) White Jr.; grandchildren, Kimberly (Chris) Tremblay, Tommy (Sarah) White, Madeline (Tommy) Genovesi, Andrew (Maggie) White, Chelsea Johnson, Ryan (Anna) Johnson, Jeffrey White, Katherine (Trevor) Mayo, Cody (Kerry) Johnson, Emily White, Shea White, and Albert White III; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Theresa was predeceased by her brother, James Shea.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation hours Wednesday, December 3, 4 to 7 p.m., in the Wm. J. Rockefeller funeral home, 165 Columbia Tpk., Rensselaer. A Mass will be held the following morning, December 4, at 10 a.m. in Holy Spirit Church, 667 Columbia Tpk., East Greenbush. Everyone is invited to the funeral home at 9:30 a.m., before the Mass. Interment is in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
