Mr. A...It's hard to believe you've been gone close to 20 years now...I never said it while you were here, but thank you for letting me share your family growing up. I know I was that boy down the street who seemed to always hang around, but you (and Carla) always made me feel welcome when my home was no place a child should grow up in. I always appreciated you allowing me to share in so many good times along with Tommy, Jay, and Tonya. Don't know if the boys ever knew about the times you pulled me aside to talk, to straighten me out, or to just check in on me. I may not have appreciated it at the time, but it always stuck with me in my later years. I'm sorry you left so soon.

Tommy, Thoughts of you still pop into my head and it is hard to imagine I won’t run into you on the street now and again. I’ll always remember those teenage years we spent together and those life changing talks we shared. I guess that old saying is true (Gone but not forgotten).

It still seems so odd that you are no longer here with us. Your grandson is quite the charmer. You would be so proud of him. He's doing so good in T-ball. Your children miss you, Tom.
