Bell, Thomas J.
WATERVLIET - Thomas J. Bell, age 87, died peacefully on May 12, 2024, at his home.
Tom graduated from SUNY, Albany and was a teacher for a number of years at Saratoga High School. He also owned and operated The Ceramic Shop in Cohoes, N.Y., for many years.
Tom is survived by his sisters, Jane Bell Richmond of Glens Falls, N.Y., Patricia Shapiro of Guilderland, N.Y., Irma Lettrick of Clifton Park, N.Y.; and many loving nieces and nephews and grandnieces and nephews. Plus many friends at Sanderson Court. He was predeceased by his mother and father, Irene and William Bell; his sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Irv LeBarron and his brother-in-law, Ed Shapiro.
A private graveside service for family will be held at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Waterford, N.Y.
Those wishing to do so may make a donation to the American Lung Association, 418 Broadway, Albany, N.Y. 12207, in Tom's memory.

My sympathy to the family. I remember from my high school days. He made business law and math fun taking an interest in his students. He was in his early teaching days which made it special for us. Good memories - RIP Mr. Bell.
