Thomas Breen Obituary
ALBANY - Thomas M. Breen, 76 of Albany, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2023, at Shaker Place Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Albany and attended Philip Schuyler High School.
Tom served in the U.S. Army as a line cook during the Vietnam War. He worked for many years as a manager for Alpart & Pearson Paint Store and American Seal Paint Store in Albany. Tom was an avid sports fan and faithfully followed the New York Mets.
He was the son of the late Thomas and Florence Breen. Tom was the brother of Patricia McWatters, Shirley Green, Joseph (Chris) Breen, Kathleen (Jim) Teller, Helen Bagley, Michael (Gary) Breen, Arthur (Bethany) Breen, Kevin (Paula) Breen and the late Margaret and Robert Breen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Tom's family is most grateful to the wonderful staff at Cambridge Assisted Living and Shaker Place for the kind and compassionate care of our brother.
Funeral services will be on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie. Visitation will be on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m., prior to the service. Interment will be in the Saratoga National Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to The American Legion, Washington Office, 1608 K Street NW, Washington, DC 20006-2847.

Tom was our friend and a friend for life. We had a blast over the years while fishing, camping and enjoying what ever life threw at us. We will truly miss Tom but our memories will last forever. Our condolences to the entire Breen Family. Tom was one of a kind , and that's what made him our friend. He was full of surprises through out his life. It was an honor knowing him and the memories he left us.

I have been forever grateful to take care of such a wonderful man. I will hold his pizza parties in my heart forever. Heaven gained such a beautiful angel. Condolences and prayers to the family.
