He was a machine operator at Shelter Enterprises in Cohoes. Most recently, he was employed by Phillips Intermagnetics in Latham, with his son-in-law, Robert Wilkie, as a machinist for eight years before retiring. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great-nephews. He had a special relationship with Jacob Farron and the late Keith Farron. He was also blessed to have had several dedicated friends, Ed Buck, Billy Buck, Mike Wouk, Mickey Fagan, Chris Webb, Frenchie, Joe Remillard, Rich Brady, the late Al Laware, the late DP Plypiec, and the late Richie Spizowski (Janice), among many many more wonderful people he called "friend."
