Carmello, Victoria M. (Crucetti) GREEN ISLAND It is with great sadness the family and friends of Victoria M. (Crucetti) Carmello mourn her passing into eternal life on January 20, 2021, due to COVID-19 pneumonia. Vicky spent several weeks battling COVID-19 and passed peacefully under the extraordinary care of the medical staff at Samaritan Hospital I.C.U. Born on April 14, 1953, to the late George A. and Joan M. Crucetti, she was the first born and always put her family and friends ahead of herself. She lived in Pittsfield, Mass. until the age of eight when the family moved to Watervliet where she lived until 2005. In 2005, she moved to the Cornerstone Senior Community Apartments in Green Island where she made many new friends. She was a graduate of St. Brigid's School and Catholic Central High School, class of 1972. She was employed by Pioneer Savings Bank in Watervliet, Hartford and Reliance Insurance Companies and currently was employed by Glacier Bay Tpa LLC in Latham. She was a member of the Watervliet Elks Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed Red Hats monthly gatherings with her dearest friend Cindy Cocca, her Valente's Restaurant work friends, Thomas, Christin and Camryn, Saturday breakfast with her brothers, Paul and Bill at Hilltop Diner, Sunday dinners at Linda and Dan's home and her trip to Aruba with her Valente friends. She is survived by her siblings, Tony (Carol) Crucetti and their children, Christina and Rob Fortin, Nicholas and Christina Marie Crucetti, Bill (Margie Scully) Crucetti, Linda Crucetti (Dan Doran) and Paul Crucetti; her great-nieces and nephew, Camila and Stella Crucetti, Aubrie and Robbie Fortin; her cousins, Jerry and Mary Ellen Crucetti, Jennifer and Rebecca Crucetti and Gavin Strain. She leaves behind many cherished friends including Cindy and Gene Cocca, Sharron McComber, Colleen Gorman, Thomas Skelly, Christin Valente and Camryn Beck. The family wishes to extend their deepest thanks to the outstanding care of the Samaritan medical staff and the support of her sister-in-law Carol Crucetti. Due to COVID-19, a private funeral Mass will be held in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. There are no public calling hours. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
