Virginia Freitas Obituary

BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. Virginia Ginni Freitas, 59, died November 30, 2005 at Saratoga Hospital, Saratoga Springs. Ginni was born April 11, 1946 in Brooklyn, N.Y. and had lived in the Ballston Spa area for the past 30 years. She had worked as a private duty L.P.N. Ginni also worked as a clerk for the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles in Albany, N.Y. She was predeceased by her parents, Tyler and Marjorie Eldridge Whitmore, and her brother, John L. Whitmore. Ginni is survived by her husband of 37 years, James L. Freitas; her sister, Mary McCabe of Ravena, N.Y.; and nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held in the spring and her ashes to be spread in Cape Cod, Mass. Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, Northeastern NY Chapter, 1717 Central Avenue, Suite 105, Albany, NY 12205 or to Paralyzed Veterans of Northeastern New York. Arrangements are by Mevec Funeral Home, Ballston Spa.

Hi, I used to work with Ginny a long time ago in accident records. She was a very special lady. I will really miss her even though I didn't get a chance to see her in a while. I didn't know that she passed away. Stepanie Kolonkowski told me. So So sorry for your loss. A friend forever.
