I'm very saddened to hear the lose of such a hard nose fighter. Walt/Wally took on a terrible disease with a vengeance like no other. I hope you are at peace now. I promise you I'll never forget the trips down State St. in the Monte Carlo rocking to Guns and Roses, nor the long and endless nights that we spent together at the NYS Assembly.

My heart felt condolences.... along with a bit of a chuckle.

Walt, Nancy, Cheryl and family,
Words cannot express our true heartfelt sorrow for your loss. Walter was a very special part of our family for many years. He was a mentor to Doug in the fire service and was the first one to teach him the ins and outs of firefighting. Through all his health issues, you never heard Walter complain once. He will always be in our hearts and greatly missed.

To The Webster Family,
It is with a heavy heart that I write these words to you. The world will be a little dimmer without Walt here to light up our days. Never a complaint from him no matter how sick he got. RPI Hockey has lost one of its greatest supporters. I will never forget how he took the time to come to some of my son's hockey games with Troy Youth Hockey. Walt was the guy who made you feel like you were the most important person in the world. Dear, sweet Walt you are finally free my friend. May God's love and peace be with each and everyone who knew, but most importantly, were touched by his kind and gentle nature.

Walt, Let me start by saying, yes we had our moments. We shared some bad times, but we had many many good times also. You have left me with memories that can never be erased. You have also inspired me (at times). You handled your disease and many sicknesses and operations without ever complaining or feeling sorry for yourself. They were all bumps in the road that you tried your best to smooth out. I truly hope you are at peace and feeling better as you deserve it more than anyone i know. Thanks for being my friend and i will never forget you. Tim.

Walter was my friend. The kind of friend that you could sit with, never saying a word, and walk away feeling like that was the best conversation you've had. I will miss my friend.

I am very saddened by the passing Walt.

No matter how difficult times were, Walt never complained. His journey, with all its struggles, showed me and many others just how strong a person he was.

I will miss him beyond words, as he was my friend.
