Wayne L. Sarrge Sr.

SCHENECTADY Wayne L. Sarrge Sr., 69, entered God's grace on Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at Ellis Center Skilled Nursing Facility. Born in Oneonta, he was the son of the late Leslie and Carabelle Sarrge. Wayne served his country in the United States Army from 1960 to 1963. Wayne leaves behind his beloved wife of 41 years, Beverly (Keith) Sarrge; his two cherished sons, Wayne L. Sarrge Jr. of San Diego, Calif. and Richard A. Sarrge of Radford, Va.; his daughter-in-law, Jamie Sarrge of San Diego; and his four loving grandchildren, Sarai, Jared, Kristen and Casey. He is also survived by his sister, Joyce Osborne of Oneonta, and many other family members. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155 - south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Niskayuna Wesleyan Church, 935 Balltown Road, Niskayuna, NY 12309 in memory of Wayne L. Sarrge Sr.
