Saints of God, come to his aid!
Come to meet him, angels of the Lord!
Receive his soul and present him to God the Most High.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him and may the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Bill was one of our favorite people in the world. His son , Matt, attended Spa Catholic with our daughter, Bridget. Bill taught our son , Tim, in his Confirmation class and we were blessed to have him as one of our Deacons at St. Clement’s. We loved “ talking baseball” with Bill( usually in the parking lot after Mass!) and he always asked about “ how our son, Tim, ( a former San Diego Padre) was doing. “ He, like us, was a die- hard Red Sox fan and this gave us many occasions to be overjoyed and to commiserate! I, Becky, fondly remember his Flag Day presentations with other K of C members when I taught at St. Clement’s.He was so proud to share both his Catholic faith and his patriotism with the school community. We shall miss Bill so very much. Although Earth has lost a precious man, truly, Heaven has gained one. Go Sox!!!!

I had the distinct honor of being one of the caregivers for Bill. He was the sweetest man with glorious stories of how many people he helped in his lifetime. It was a joy to know him. My heart will miss his humor and his gentle soul. I pray he is finally with his sweet Alice whom he talked about at length and sorely missed. RIP Deacon Bill. God has a new and very special angel in heaven now.

Bill, your father seems to have lived a life of true devotion and love; a faith like his always amazes me (and keeps me hopeful). My sympathies to you and your family on your loss.
