William A. Kivlen

Kivlen, William A. LAURENS, S.C. William Anthony Kivlen, 92, of Laurens, died Sunday, November 1, 2009 at NHC Healthcare. He was born June 4, 1917 in Lyons Falls, N.Y. to the late William and Cecelia Darling Kivlen. He lived many years in East Nassau before retiring to Venice, Fla. and then to Laurens. He was the husband of 70 years to the late Evelyn Buchwald Kivlen and father to the late Edwin R Kivlen. He is survived by his children, William L. Kivlen of Laurens, Michael A. Kivlen of North Port, Fla., Janice Kivlen Bigelow of Sarasota, Fla.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staffs of NHC and Solaris Hospice for the concern and care shown to Bill.
