Yolanda Filippini Obituary
Yolanda was known for her gentle spirit, kind heart, and unwavering devotion to her family. She will be deeply missed by her loving niece, Diane Nardacci, and her husband, Tony; as well as her beloved brother, Frank Filippini; along with many other nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. In addition to her parents, Yolanda was predeceased by her siblings, Amelia Gimondo, Rose Smith, Dominic Filippino, Eda Filippino, Nicholas Filippini; and her soulmate, Donald O'Connor, whom she shared her love of the outdoors with.
Relatives and friends are invited and may visit with the family on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m., to the W.J. Lyons Jr., Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Ave., Rensselaer. A funeral service will be held the following morning, Wednesday, at 10:00 a.m., at the funeral home, with interment to follow at St. Agnes Cemetery, in Menands.
The family would like to thank the ICU staff at Albany Medical Center for their wonderful care they gave Yolanda.

Yolanda (Yo) After we retired every year I called you on your birthday. This year I got sidetracked. I but thought of you all that day 4/10. You crossed my mind about 10 min ago and found that you left this world for a better place. We had good long talks every year and we hit every subject. Thanks for the help and support you showed me in the lab. My friend you will be missed and thanks for being you.
