Amy Casey Obituary

CASEY Amy Parnell Casey, 96, passed away June 30, 2004. She was born June 17, 1908 in Mayport, Florida. Amy was a life-long resident of Mayport and the Beaches area until moving to Auburndale, Florida 14 years ago to be closer to family members. She was owner and operator of a nationally known company, Parnell's Restaurant and Fish Company in Mayport, Florida. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Jacksonville Beach #1381; lifelong member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Ribault Chapter 195, O.E.S. Family members include sons, Wallace J. Parnell of Auburndale, FL, William E. Parnell, Jr. (Barbara) of Ocean Springs, MS; grandchildren, Bill Parnell (Connie) of Auburndale, FL, Doris Parnell of Ocean Springs, MS, Donna Williams of Maitland, FL; David Brentnell of Jacksonville Beach, FL, Stacy Parnell of Lakeland, FL; several great and great-great grandchildren. Amy was predeceased by her husband, William E. Parnell and grandson, Starr Parnell. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 2nd at Quinn-Shalz, A Family Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 3rd at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
