Anna Mingione

1939 - 2017

MINGIONE Anna Mingione, 77, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2017 at Kindred Hospital in Green Cove Springs, FL. She was born on July 12, 1939 in Manhattan, NY, to the late Pasquale DeMartino and Ella Basio. Anna was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Bronx, N.Y. She enjoyed family, shopping, eating out and spending time with her grandchildren. Anna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rocco F. Mingione, Sr.; and her brother, Pasquale DeMartino, Jr. Anna, lovingly known to all as Annie, is now in the loving arms of her late husband, Rocco Frank Mingione, Sr., known to all as the Duke. Reunited after many years apart, they will now start their endless journey together once again. Her vibrant spirit, enduring strength and unconditional love for her family will be cherished by the remaining loving family including her three sons, Rocco F. Jr. (Violeta), John A. and Dino C. Mingione; three grandchildren, Keisha I. and Rocco F. III Mingione, and Eli Waters; and two great-grandsons, Seth and Able Baby Duke Waters, and her best friend Cathy Zbinden of over 55 years. A service will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. following a viewing beginning at 3:00 p.m., both at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, Florida 32073, (904) 264-1233.
