I remember Arch very well. He was the big man on campus and very popular in school. I am so sorry he had such a short life. He had so much to give and left a very wonderful memory for his family and friends. My best wishes for his family.

I am so sorry to hear that Arch has left this earth, but greatful that so many people were the lucky recipients of his warmth and kindness. I last saw that sweet smile as we planned the Lee reunion of the class of 1950 during 2000, and will remember the lovely party at his and Lo's wonderful home in Ortega. I know he will be missed by scores of friends and associates. Jerry and I send heartfelt sympathy to Lo and the family.

Jeanene (Hiers) and I were truly saddened to learn that Arch is no longer with us. Even though we haven't been back to Jacksonville in ages we remember him well and fondly. We had a lump in our thoats as we read the obituary, for Arch, for his family, and for some of our old friends from high school who were pallbearers, including Leland Burpee and Ken Taratus.

I was fortunate enough to know Arch. He inspired me to work smart and to become a "Centurion". He presented me with his namesake award, "Cassidy Leadership" in 2000. Arch, I made "Centurion" on July 19th, 2007.

Thanks for the inspiration, and the years of service to your country, company, community, and UF. We will miss you and never forget you.

My prayers are with family and friends.

I was fortunate to serve in the Navy with Arch. We were both assigned to the Staff Supply Office of the Commander Fleet Air Jacksonville in 1956-57. Although Arch was an officer and I was an enlisted man he treated me with respect and dignity. He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word, gentle and kind. I have thought of him many times over the years and I regret that I didn't take the time to visit with Arch. The world will be a lesser place with his passing. God bless you Arch. You are in the presence of our Lord Jesus and family and friends that have gone on before you.
