Uncle,as our hearts and eyes are overcome with sorrow, we look above and see a brighter tomorrow. Your labor of life and love here on earth is completed. With our goodbyes, we think on the priceless gifts of our tomorrows and may our lives reflect, time well spend with wonderful rejoicing of love ones, while it is still time for our tomorrows. Rest On Love One, until we all meet again,it with be our tomorrow, at peace. AMC20141802

MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU AND YOUR FAMILY REGINA SHARPE GRAVES AND MARY SHARPE WILLIAMS
February 14, 2014
To the Green Family, the distance may be great but please know my family has your family in our prayers during this sad period in life. A death in the family leaves a void that cannot be filled. No one can ever take the place of a “father” in the world. I hope your family finds some comfort in this message from an old high school friend, who has always felt a kind-ship, and will always see you'll as family now and forever. My hope is as you read this later it will become words of comfort in your wakening hours. However, there must be time to mourn the fact that things will never be the same. One minute he was here and now he is gone. The human mind must be allowed to sit with this reality. Mourning is a necessary part of the human experience. If it is ignored, a general feeling of sadness may pervade the whole family. Always know I'm here for you.
God bless,

With tearful eyes I look around: Life seems a dark and stormy sea: Yet midst the gloom I hear a sound, A heavenly whisper, Come to me. It tells me of a place to rest: It tells me where my soul may flee: Oh to the weary, faint, oppressed, How sweet the bidding, Come to me. Guggie is already missed. We loved him and, Family to him, was a journey. We Loved him and he loved us. We pray that God will keep us strong in the Lord. Jeanette and Marvin Smith...Sister-in-law and Brother-in-law.

I had the privilege last year of introducing Mr. Green to his great-grand daughters (Kenyara, Kennea and Kenyia). As they chat on his porch he was very pleased to meet them and to learn they were neighbors and most importantly (family). The conversation that Mr. Green had with the girls left a lasting impression that he was a loving and caring man; the girls will truly miss passing by waving and enjoying family time with Mr. Green.
