Born on October 4, 1958, in Jacksonville, Florida. David called northeast Florida home for 62 years until he departed this life on February 17, 2021, in
Gainesville, Florida, with his wife, sister, and children at his side. He graduated from Samuel W. Wolfson High School and earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Accounting degrees from the University of Florida. Professionally, David was an exceptionally skilled and highly regarded Certified Public Accountant in Jacksonville.
David was preceded in death by his mother Lou Sims DuBose. He is survived by his wife of nearly 29 years, Patricia, his son Henry, and his daughters Audrey and Ava. He is also survived by his father and stepmother, John and July DuBose, his sister and her husband, Diane and Stanley Pilinski, and many other loving relatives. He lives on in them and in the lives of all those who were lucky enough to know him.
Services will be held September 4, 2021 at 10:00am at All Saints Episcopal Church at 4171 Hendricks Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida 32007. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests offerings in David's memory to All Saints Episcopal Church, the Blue and Gray Education Society, P.O.
