I miss your face, your smile, your laugh. I miss our late into the night/morning talks on the roof and the backyard. You would be so proud of all your children. Just like we used to talk about. I will forever love and miss you.

I saw someone today that reminded me of you......a free key strokes later I found you on Google, sadly. Doug you were a good friend back in the high school days. You always knew how to get a laugh. Your were such a nut, not what I expected to find today.... Rest in Peace.

Hi Daddy, it's been a little over 8 years since you passed, i'm 24 now. Justin's 27. Jenna's about to be 23 and Graceson's in middle school---12 year old now. You have 4 grandkids between Justin and Jenna, none from me. I never got to sign your Guest Book, better late than never, right? You were the Late King. We were late to everything, work, church, school. I remember days you'd drop us off at school hours late and we'd be sitting in the office waiting to be picked up hours after school had ended. All the ladies in the office knew our names and any where you went people knew who you were. There were some really tough years there. I hope there's peace where ever you are. Love, Danielle

I am so sorry for not knowing you in adult hood as I knew you as a child. You protected me and cared for me and I looked up to you as my friend, brother and not just a cousin. I am so proud of the person that you were then and the person that you had become. You are now in God's loving embrace and I am sure still protecting and caring for all of us now, no matter what space and time is between us. PLEASE whoever knew Doug as an adult please contact me. I would like to put the pieces of my heart together. I only just found out on August 8th of his death.

Dearest Nephew Doug:
You will always be in my thoughts & prayers - remember we always loved you & your family, even thou we did not see each other living so far apart.
Now you are in heaven with God and your mother, my sister Catherine, may God watch over both of you on your long & safe journey home to live with Jesus Christ.
My prayers are with your wife, children and your father at this very hard time in their lives.
