To Eddie (son),

Words cannot express how we all feel about the death of your Dad. We were shocked and saddened by the abruptness of his passing. We have many fond memories of him that go back so many years, when you were so young. There were lots of good times and laughs in those days back in Massachusetts. I feel so blessed that he still thought of us as his family and that he wanted to visit us after so many years had passed. It was a wonderful visit we had together a couple of summers ago. He was the same fun loving Pete as we all remembered. It was as if all the years that had passed didn't matter, we all picked up where we left off so many years ago. He is very sadly missed by all of us.

Love, Aunt Nancy, Aunt Pat, Aunt Donna, Grammy Dyer and John.

Pete was the greatest of brother in laws anyone could ask for. Dave and I both loved him and will miss him. It just won't be the same when we go to Jax. with no Pete around, but I know we have another angel up there watching over us. And Shirley knows that we will be there for her now and in the years to come.

You were...

My friend,

My childhood companion,

Through good times and bad,

The ouch to my pain,

The laugh to my happiness.

My friend,

My buddy,

Through happy and sad,

Beside me you stood,

Beside me you walked,

You were there to listen,

You were there to talk,

With happiness,

With smiles,

With pain and tears,

I thought you would be there,

Throughout all my years.

Sadly missed,

You have left a void.

Shirley, my heart goes out to you and your family. Pete was a very special person and will be missed by his family and the many friends who loved him. I remember his birthday party that George and I attended, and what fun we had. How could a person not love him. I pray that GOD will be good to you and help you through this difficult time. I understand what you are going through and if there is anything I can do, please call. I love you! Roma Kouroupis

Eddie(son),

I read about your dad in the paper today. I had to write and tell you that you and your family will be in my prayers.

Our Deepest Sympathy

To Shirley and the rest of the family!

Pete, was a Very Dear Friend to Us,

who will be greatly missed by all, who knew him and loved him. But, we must find comfort in knowning that Pete is Safety Home with the Lord now.

SAFELY HOME

I am home in Heaven, dear ones;

Oh, so happy and so bright!

There is perfect joy and beauty

In this everlasting light.

All the pain and grief is over,

Every restless tossing passed;

I am now at peace forever,

Safely home in Heaven at last.

Did you wonder I so calmly

Trod the valley of the shade?

Oh! but Jesus's love illumined

Every dark and fearful glade.

And He came Himself to meet me

In that way so hard to tread;

And with Jesus'arm to lean on,

Could I have one doubt or dread?

Then you must not grieve so sorely,

For I love you dearly still:

Try to look beyond earth's shadows,

Pray to trust our Father's Will.

There is work still waiting for you,

So you must not idly stand:

Do it now, while life remaineth-

You shall rest in Jesus'land.

When that work is all completed,

He will gently call you Home;

Oh, the rapture of that meeting,

Oh, the joy to see you come!

In Loving Memory of Pete,

A Very Dear Friend!
