Tom and Bettys is probably the best known restaurant and lounge in Jacksonville. It's longevity is because of the way Betty was able to creat a warm, friendly, and unique atmosphere. Betty will be missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to have known her. We all share your grief at this time.

Christina, I am so sorry to hear of your mothers passing. I remember her kindnest and laughter when I was young from the original restaurant as my grandmother(Ruth)and my late mother(Linda)used to work for her. My thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless and Peace.
