I was very sorry to hear of Petri's passing. I had the pleasure of traveling with him on business several times. The most notable was a trip to Minneapolis on February 24th. I won't forget the date because it was my birthday and it was also perhaps the coldest I have ever been. There I was with nothing but a light London Fog coat...but Petri was nice and warm in his thick coat, hat and gloves. He was a special person who I feel priviledged to have known.

What do you say about someone who has taken you by the hand and led you though life. Petri, my big brother, was always there for me, and whoever needed him. I will miss his smile, sense of humor, brotherly concern, his wisdom and quiet, gentle way. He was so special, and loved his family. It will be hard to fill the void his death has left us.
Petri, I will miss you.
Love from your "little" sister.

And my thanks to all who have signed the guest book offering help, support and prayers. God bless you.

Mary Lou,

My deepest sympathies to you and your family. I just learned about Petri and am deeply saddened. Just last week I was looking at a book which he gave me several years ago and I chuckled about what a true friend he had been to me. He was one of the most thoughtful and generous people I have ever met.
May God bless you and give you peace,

To the Robbins Family

I was deeply saddened to hear of the loss of my friend and colleague Petri. He was truly one of those rare individuals who could see past the trivial parts of life, focus on what was important and make those around him better people. Petri, along with his wit, wisdom, and genuine concern for others will be missed.

Mary Lou: I'll miss my LSU School of Banking buddy. He kept me sharp and I treasure the friendship we had all these years; the fact that we were competitors never entered the picture. He was the best. Bill Sutton

There are many wonderful things to be said about Petri; my favorite is that he had the gift of friendship and added a lot of Love to a world much in need of it. He'll certainly be missed.

Mary Lou,
I'm so sorry for your loss, know how close you'll were for so long. It's hard to lose the one you love.
We were "ole" neighbors back in '70's at River Reach Apartments.
Seems like yesterday you and Petri sat on the balony as newlyweds then.
Take care of yourself and remember that life goes on for us widows.
Sincerely,
Rosemary D. Hines
