Gladys Loftin Obituary

LOFTIN Gladys Lillian Stephens Loftin went home to be with the Lord on September 2, 2003. Grandmother you have built a strong foundation on the solid ground of faith by always giving all that you can give. Thank you for the joy you have given to all your family members and for being just what you were meant to be: a person full of dignity and strength that comes from God, the heart and soul of our family. She leaves behind a brother Ralph Harris, sister Meredith Nesbitt, daughters: Donna Loftin andVerna Lamug (Eduardo Sr.), sons: Walter Loftin, Richard Loftin Sr. (Louisa), Gary Loftin, and Keith Loftin Sr. (Dee). Grandchildren: April Johnson (Hobert), Eduardo Lamug Jr. (Michelle), Angelina Williams (Lonnie Sr.), Catina Spires, Tammy Crady, Clifford Crady, Keith Loftin Jr., Tabatha Loftin, Raymond Carter (Sharon), Teresa Loftin, Richard Loftin Jr. Great- grandchildren: Lillian, Tameka, Edwin, Chelsea, Gabrielle, Breanna, Roben, Ashlie, Sean, Laylani, Lonnie Jr., Richard III, Kayla, and Ricky and a host of nieces and nephews. Thank you to the staff of Cedar Hills Nursing Home for taking good care of our beloved mother. Funeral services for Mrs. Loftin will be held at 2P.M. Friday in THE HARDAGE- GIDDENS CHAPEL, 729 S. Edgewood Ave., with visitation Thursday from 6 until 8PM. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery with Pastor Curtis Ganey officiating. Please sign the Guestbook at Jacksonville.com
