Gladys McKnight Obituary

McKNIGHT Gladys A. McKnight, 79, affectionately known as Maxine was called to glory on Tuesday 16 December 2014 after a brief illness. She worked in food service at Naval Air Station Jacksonville before retiring as a school crossing guard in the Arlington area. She leaves to cherish her memories: three daughters, Theresa (Glenn) Harold, Cora (Darrell) Williams, Maria (Richard) Tisdale; son, Howard McKnight; sisters, Lillian Jackson, Lillie Bell Shanks, Cora McKnight-Collins, Theresa Foster; twenty-four grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, a host of other relatives and many friends. MEMORIAL SERVICE will be Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Circle of Faith Ministries, 6063 Commerce Avenue, Pastors Joseph McRoy & Johnny Wells officiating.
