HARLAN Harry Manuel Harlan, Jr. passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2005 after a lengthy illness. The graveside service will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, May 7, 2005 at Oakland Cemetery in Tallahassee, with full Millitary Honors. Family will recieve friends Friday, May 6, 2005 from 6 to 8 pm at Beggs Funeral Home, Apalachee Chapel, 3322 Apalachee Parkway, Tallahassee, FL 32311 (850-942-2929) Harry was born in Pensacola, FL September 11, 1932 to Harry and Fern Harlan. The family moved to Tallahassee, where Harry grew up. He retired from the US Navy after 22 years of honorable service. After retiring he attended Jones College of Jacksonville. He also retired from Centex Homes as a field supervisor. He was a Baptist, and lived in Middleburg, FL for the past 28 years. He is survived by: His wife, of 53 years, Virginia Trammell Harlan of Middleburg, FL., 2 sons, Harry Manuel Harlan, III and wife Maralee of Sidney, ME., Timothy Alan Harlan of Middleburg., Brother, David Harlan of Crawfordville, 2 Bro thers-in-law, David O. Trammell and wife Faye of Tallahassee, Ronald Trammell and wife Henrietta of Tallahassee, Sister, Lois Daniels of Vero Beach, 4 grandchildren, Sarah Harlan Williams of Portland, ME., Ruth Harlan, Rachel Harlan, and Christina Harlan of Sidney, ME., Plus many nieces and nephews.
