Harvey Gartner Obituary

GARTNER Harvey J. Gartner, 57, passed away December 31, 2004. A Jacksonville native, he was president of Gartner Rag Company. He was a member of the Jacksonville Jewish Center, Jewish Men's Club, and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. Mr. Gartner was a supporter of the FCCJ Artist's Series and supported the arts at the Jacksonville Jewish Center. Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Liz Gartner; two daughters, Tiffany and Jennifer Gartner; two sisters, Linda Ginsburg and Karen Watzman (David); a brother, Brian Gartner (Cheryl); a sister-in-law, Ruth Ann Van den Burg (Mercer); nieces and nephews, Leslie Platcock (Brian), Mark Ginsburg (Jill), Tracy Beaver (Scott), Michael Gartner, Alexis Gartner, Jessica Watzman, and Allison Watzman; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2005, at New Center Cemetery (Evergreen Cemetery at 43rd and Liberty Street) with Rabbi Jonathan Lubliner officiating. In lieu of flowe rs, memorial contributions may be made to the Jacksonville Jewish Center Preschool Fund. Please Sign the Guestbook @ Jacksonville.com
