Jim, I will miss you. I enjoyed the time we spent together. It wasn't enough, but who would have thought... It's sad to think that the world dealt you this hand. Being smart and kind and funny isn't enough, huh? I'll miss you. And when Bobo is being kind and funny, I'll tell him he's acting like his Uncle Jim.

I knew Jim from when he lived at the Suburban Lodge with Art Sankey.. I would call for Art and Jim and I would have some of the funniest conversations. He had this way about making me laugh when I did not feel like it.I am so sorry to hear that he is no longer with us,but I know that he is in a better place, probably telling jokes. My condolences to his Family. *Jeanie Cowart* ^i^

A more kind, unique, and true friend I'll never know. May his gentle soul always prosper.

I knew of Jim mostly through what his sister Betsy told me. It is such a tragedy when someone's life is cut so short, when they still could have added so much more to other people's lives. My sincere condolences to the Brenner family. I am sorry that I am not able to attend the funeral.

Jim's sense of humor and ability to make people laugh was a gift he shared with many. His intelligence and wit was as charming as he was. Always a willing and generous friend with a heart of gold, he will forever have a special place in our hearts. Our deepest sympathy goes out to his family and friends. So many memories...
