To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

To my brother "Bear"... It's my pleasure having you as a brother in my life & there after. I have alot of love for you "In a gay way like at The Red Roof Inn" when we needed a room i told a woman we were there to rob them & you freaked out & you told her no no... we need a room. Then i was like oh yes b/c were gay bikers... i remember how embarrassed you got, it was hard to embarrass you. I will miss the laughter we had & the rides we took together. You will forever be missed & loved but never forgotten, my brother from the beginning & the end. To Pam, i will be there to help you anyway that i can, all you have to do is just call me. To the rest of the family, you know who you are i love you & stay in touch.

I will miss you a lot Uncle Jim, I have alot of memories of you growing up. Always being at your house in the summer, and having alot of fun. You always treated me like one of your own, and for that I truly thank you from the bottom of my heart. Just one of the memories I have is when we used to sit and watch wrestling at your house. And the wrestler Bam Bam Bigelo would wrestle and he has all those tattoos on his body and the shaved head. And you used to tease all of us it was you on the tv. And we were so young we believed you. I always like telling people about that story. I will miss you very much, rip uncle Jim.

My dear brother, God called you home to a place without pain. You brought such happiness and laughter back into my life. You touched so many lives and those lives will have the precicous treasures you brought to each and everyone. I am going to miss our 3 hour phone conversations, your jokes and your laugh. But my dear brother in my heart you will always be. Tucked in there with the love and memories you gave to me. Someday I will walk with you again in Heaven and the laughter will begin again. The angels get to spend the time with you now as you share your sense of humor with them, but we will be together again. I love you my brother and you will be missed.

Michele,
I can understand exactly how you are feeling, and I wish I could tell you it will lessen, but my dad's been gone a year and a half and I still cry about him everyday and feel I have lost my heart. I found my dad did not only make the moon for me, but also hung it. I am crying for you now. It is so hard. Your dad was so much fun to talk to on the phone. I guess now we will never have our pajama party, will we? I pray our two dads find each other in heaven, laughing, talking, and just enjoy being together. I hurt for you as I know all too well how much you loved him and, Michele, he knew too!

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the Files family. For ten years I have known "Bear". I remember the first time I saw him. Scared me half to death. But I never thought I would see a "tough" man like him be so afraid of a little needle. Silly him. I remember calling him everytime we had a new employee and I would say, "Hey! Guess what! Got fresh meat for you!" He would always make sure that he would give the new nurses a "hard time". Even though we all knew he was joking. I will always remember him calling almost everyday and saying, "Hello Dr. Shahla's office. This is Dr. Feelgood." I never got enough. He would brighten my day when he called. It's going to be hard going the day not hearing him call just one time. But you know, we are strong. We will pull together during this difficult time. We know that Bear is up there in Heaven smiling down on us and riding off into the sunset on a Brand New Harley with a Chihuahua on the handle bars riding with him. Bear you will be deeply missed. You have touched many lives. And hey, you still owe me a one of a kind tattoo. I'll be seeing you someday, so have that tattoo gun ready! Love ya. I never thought that I could get so attached to a patient like I did you. But you are something special. I will miss ya ole buddy. Until then......

God is Always With You...
A place on earth is empty. A voice you loved is gone. Yet in the memories of your heart, the love you knew lives on. In God's redeeming purpose, we cannot always know the reason for the sad times that we must undergo. And yet our faith assures us God's love and strength will be sufficient for our days on earth and all eternity.
With heartfelt sympathy and many prayers...
Love always,

"Bear",
Truly was an honor and sincere pleasure to have met you. I wish God could've allowed us to meet in a different place than that of St. Lukes, but, our gracious father nonetheless introduced us. You will be missed my friend, you have made an immediate impact with me for that I am very grateful. God Bless you Bear, I will be sure to take an extra lap on the road for you brother.
To Bear's family: My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you, Pam, call me when ever you need to. My deepest sympathies and condolences.
God Bless,

Little did I know that Monday morning that God would call your name. After you beat the odd of surving the surgery Friday, In life I loved you dearly, in death I do the same. It broke my heart to lose you, you did not go alone. For part of me went with you the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still my guide. And though I cannot see you, you are always on my side. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same. But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again. I will see you once again Daddy I love you so much and I know you are in better place and you are no longer in pain. You will be dearly missed. I love you Daddy Love your daughter Michele
