HARDING Funeral Services with full Military Honors will be held for Dea. John T. Harding at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 30, 2004, in St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 3738 Winton Dr., Dr. John E. Guns, Senior Pastor, Officiant. Dea. Harding, U. S. Navy, Ret., of 1419 Louisiana St., passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2004. Born in Aurora, NC., his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Bloomia and Annie Grice Harding, nurtured and provided him with Christian values. Upon graduation from high school, he enlisted in the U. S. Navy in 1942 and was honorably discharged after 20 years of service to his country. He was a long time member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church where he served previously as Deacon and Leader of District #14, Sunday School Superintendent and Teacher; and member of the Men's Senior Class. Currently, he was in the School of Discipleship and a Core Giver. He was predeceased by his parents and his wife, Maxine Hicks Harding. Left to cherish his memories are daughter, Mrs. P aula M. Coppage (Nathaniel), Jacksonville, FL; stepson, Mr. Hollis Bryant, Buffalo, N.Y.; 2 brothers, Mr. Redmon Harding (Doris), Aurora, N. C., and Mr. Richard Harding, Philadelphia, Pa.; nephews and nieces, to include Mr. Robert Donaldson, Weilaka, FL, Mrs. M. Marie Hargrave and Mrs. Shirley A. Herron, Durham, N. C., and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, July 29, 2004 from 4:00-7:00pm (where the family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00pm) and on Friday from 9:00am until the hour of the service.
