I must truly say through out the years that I have known Johnnie he always posessed an infectious smile that kept a lasting impression on everyone that came across his path . Johnnie Mack, you were a loving cousin and thread that held the fiber of our family together. We loved you dearly. Although we are so saddened by your passing, we are comforted in knowing that you are safe in the arms of Jesus. God is a good God and he will not put more on us than we can bare. I was sadden to learn the news of my cousin Johnnies untimely death. However, I was comforted when I learned he had given his life to Christ. For the race is not given to the swift nor to the strong but to he whom endure until the end. Johnnie fought a good fight,he kept the pace and he endured until the end. He now has his Angel wings. Dad I can onloy say a thousand times that I love you and I still know that physically it won't bring you back. But I find comfort in God and I know that you are in heaven watching all of us from heaven. I thank God you gave over your life just THREE days before God called your name. My son, my son, it is hard for me to wrap my mind around the idea that you are going. Its not suppose to be that way. Parents before children. Nevertheless, you are just a thought away. Tears keep coming to my eyes when I think about what a great person you were. Apparently God only wanted your precious love to remain on earth for a little while. You must have been missing in heaven so God called you home. I shall see you again face to face. I love you baby. We embraced for the last time on Sunday, August 8th around your house to the cookout. I did not know that that would have been my last time seeing you alive. You told me that you really love me, kiss me on my forehead and gave me a tight hug. I will never ever forget that moment. Johnnie Freeman was a fine man. I worked with him a few years back at a small restaurant that my Mother owned on Lane Ave. He had a heart of gold and a sweet and caring nature. Johnnie my heart hurts so bad, i just can't believe that you are gone. I wish our time would have been extended but I know when God makes a call you have to answer. Words will never be able to express my sorrow. Love is just the beginning of what we shared. I Love you always. To the children and to the family you were loved his heart was so big, and he showed love to every life he touched.
