Hi Dad,
You were my strength my whole life. You took a small 8 month old little girl into your home and raised me as your own. Then you took in my sisters and raised them too. You took care of me until after I had my children and never complained. You worked very hard all your life and there were many good times. I especially remember the summers in Staten Island, NY when we would be at the beach all day and when you got home from work you would meet us there and we would stay until late.
You never denied me anything in my life and I love you for this. You were a very "quiet man" and were always there for me when I needed help with math, chemistry or anything.
I know for a fact that my biological brothers and mother were extremely grateful to you and mom for doing what you did for us and giving us the life she would never have been able to do.
I love you dad and know that you are now at peace with yourself and the world and you and mom are walking all the beaches of the world.
All my love,
Your daughter,
Helen
