Dear Heinz Family,
We are so so sorry to hear about Josh. We have some great memories from baseball when he would always warm Conor up before he would pitch. A crazy pitch hit Josh in the mouth and sent him to the hospital getting several stiches. Josh return 1 hr later to the baseball field. Conor loved him so much as did the other boys. Great memories with you all...Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

We knew Josh thru our son Brian and came to know him as a wonderful young man with a quick smile and always so well mannered. We appreciated the wonderful friend he was to Brian and the way they were always there for each other. I personally will never hear the word "Ma'am" and not smile and think of Josh. Josh was a great friend and neighbor. We walked around the neighborhood almost daily together. Jackson and my dog Buster were great friends. I have been disabled the past few years. Josh and his dog were never too busy to stop and help me when they saw me struggling with a trash can, groceries or anything for that matter. That is something not one other neighbor has ever done. He was a wonderful, caring young man that touched more lives than most are aware of. It only feels like yesterday that I saw him everyday in class and at lunch. Josh was always a great friend and one who didn't even have to try to make you laugh or smile. He was a faithful friend and caring one… one with a HUGE heart. I always remember how he was very attentive to his sister Jenn and nodded to her every time she passed by… Its really hard to believe that so much energy and charisma is not going to be with us anymore. I recently saw him from far away and he gave a big wave and a HEY!!! I could feel his energy from far… My deepest condolences to the Heinz family especially his parents, Jenn and Ryan. Josh was the best friend a person could have and like a brother to many. Always positive, Josh had a unique way of making those around him better people. He was kind, caring, generous, and always willing to lend a helping hand. The one thing that always amazed me was his ability to meet new friends, he knew everyone and everyone knew Big Josh. My heart breaks for the entire Heinz family, Josh loved his family above all else and was so proud of his parents and siblings. I am going to miss Josh every time I see a golf course, watch a basketball or football game, hear anything about the University of Florida, or do anything that Josh loved to do. I could go on for pages about how Josh improved all of the lives he touched, but those of us lucky enough to have known him already know how great Josh truly was. Please keep Josh and his family in your prayers as we celebrate his life. Josh, you will be truly missed, rest in peace brother.
