Rita and family, As you can see by the date of this condolence, it has been over a year since Papa Larry's passing and there is not a day that goes by that I do not think of him. I am honored and blessed to have been able to call him my father in law and the grandfather of my two beautiful children Charles, Jr. and Kathleen. I love all of you more than you know. Charles, Sr.

To the Sharpe family. I just found out about Larry. Please except my deepest condolences. He and I were not related, even though we tried. We went through grade school and high school together and graduated together. I attended most of the re-unions. He kept me undated on our class mates. Some people you meet in life you tend to forget, not Larry. He had a way about him that you did not forget.
God Bless
Phil Sharpe

We salute Captain Sharpe's life and service to our country. American patriot and naval aviator. I know most of his children, who like Captain Sharpe, are honorable, great Americans. I didn't know he was a JAX native. I salute JAX's native son and send my thoughts and prayers to his wife Rita and his children. Well done, my good and faithful servant. Godspeed!
