I also had Mrs. Stubbs for 5th grade at Ruth N. Upson, there is always a teacher that stands out in your memory and she was mine. She was the type of teacher that you could tell loved her students, great patience and always kind. My prayers are with her love ones at this sad time.

I remember Mrs. Stubbs also as my 5th grade teacher. She was one of my favorite teachers at Ruth Upson. I know her family will miss her dearly and they are in my thoughts and prayers.

To the family of Mrs. Stubbs, please accept our heartfelt sympathies in the loss of Mrs. Stubbs. She was my 5th grade teacher at Ruth Upson elementary school and was a good friend to my Mom. We reconnected with her a few years ago at Murray Hill Baptist Church. May your memories sustain you during this time.

I HAVE A LOT OF FOND MEMORIES OF MRS. STUBBS. I CALLED FOR SUBS IN THE OLD DAYS AT STONEWALL JACKSON ELEM. SHE WAS ALWAY DEPENDABLE AND DID A GREAT JOB. ALL THE TEACHERS AND SCHOOL SECRETARIES KNEW THEY COULD DEPEND ON HER TO SHOW UP AND DO A GOOD JOB. I WAS AMAZED AT HER SQUARE DANCING ABILITIES. SHE HAD A GREAT OUTLOOK ON LIFE AND WAS A FUN LADY TO BE AROUND. MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU ALL. CHERISH YOUR MEMORIES.

Ms. Stubbs was my fifth grade teacher. She made me a patrol boy (what an honor). She knew me and my brother had a few knocks coming up and she was very kind to both of us. She made him a patrol boy also. David Stubbs was a friend of mine and I want to say to you, your mom was a great woman.

Mrs. Stubbs was always so reliable as a substitute teacher when I needed her due to my husband's illness. That was so appreciated, and she always uplifted me with her earnestness . My students were always in good hands with her. A lovely lady ! Sweet memories.

Knowing Mary has been a distinct privilege. Her positive outlook on life and her true gift for gab made her fun to be with and an asset to the teaching
profession. In her retirement, I was most fortunate to be able to rely on her for an extended substitute position enabling me to take time off following an accident. Mary was an effective, dependable and caring teacher well remembered I'm sure by many children and colleagues!

I knew Mary in her later years when she worked as a substitute teacher at Hyde Park Elementary. She always had the most interesting stories and loved talking about her children. You could tell she was from Boston buy her charming accent.

Ms. Stubbs was my 5th grade teacher. She read the Boxcar children to us. I loved that and read it to my children and now my grandchildren. I will always remember and thank her for that memory.
