O'REAR Mrs. Mildred age 88 of Knoxville formerly of Jacksonville, Florida passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2004. She was a founding member of Parkwood Baptist Church in Jacksonville and locally a member of West Hills Baptist Church. Mrs. O'Rear was an avid bridge player. A daughter, Barbara Briggs, preceded her in death. Mrs. O'Rear is survived by her husband of 70 years, Richard Weldon O'Rear, sons and daughters-in-law, Richard W. and Sandra O'Rear of Knoxville and Robert L. and Judy O'Rear of Athens, Ga., sister, Due Sweatman of Shreveport, La., grandchildren, Laurie Briggs of Orlando, Fl., Brad O'Rear of Myrtle Beach, SC, Chad and Trent O'Rear of Athens, GA, Carrie O'Rear of Knoxville and Erin Seago of Roanoke, VA, and two great grandchildren Abigail and Eliza O'Rear. Graveside services will be held Monday, January 19, 2004 at 1:00 P.M., in Arlington Memorial Cemetery, 6854 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32211.
