Dear Jennifer and Elizabeth,

I was SO shocked and SO VERY SORRY to hear about your mom. I had been meaning to call her so we could get together for lunch ...we take things so for granted. I didn't even know she was sick, so was devastated when I heard the sad news.

Your mom was truly one in a million and will be sorely missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to have known her. She loved you both SO much and was so appreciative and thankful for her "later in life gifts"---her two girls!!! I regret that I was in the mountains last week so was unable to attend the services.

Please know that you and your entire family are in my thoughts and prayers. Please let me know if there is anythng I can do. I left my number on Muriel's answering machine and would love to talk to you.

Muriel was my dance teacher back in 1972. Unfortunately, she caught me
chewing gum during a dress rehearsal and she pulled me to the side and said,
"If you're going to chew gum then at least chew in the same dance rhythm."
She later judged a competition for me in middle school. What a fabulous role
model and what a beautiful lady. My sincere condolences to her family.
She will be sorely missed. Gay Lynn Lynch-5541889-cell

From the moment, Muriel walked into my Jazzercise class, I knew this was a very special lady. She was class personified, but boy--could she boogie! She lived life & I will never forget such a treasure! Sharon Waelde

"Miss Muriel" was my daughter's beloved tap teacher in the 80's. A highlight of the school's recital was Muriel's performance. She always WOWED the audience!! When Muriel had to have foot surgery and wasn't going to be able to teach for a while, my daughter gave up tap classes rather than have anyone else for her teacher.

To the family of Muriel Kayter you have my deepest condolences. I will remember Muriel forever, she was one in a million. I worked with Muriel at St Joe and she taught me a lot...one thing was never to dance with her. She wore me out on several occasions on the dance floor, but most of all she taught me "Class". You all are in my prayers.
God Bless
