Granny Bryan you are truely missed. I remember when we would all get together and have dinner and you would always point at tommy and tell me he was a bad boy it made me laugh so much. Your ice cream cones is a symbol to me that reminds me of you because you would always eat an ice cream cone after dinner and wont someone to eat one with you. I love you so much and your always on my mind, I know your in a better place now and your with my Mamaw Crowe in heaven with Jesus. I love you forever and always.

Phyliss was a person loved and enjoyed being around. Her mom was my mom' older sieter and she was 6 years older than me. When we used to visit in the 1930's, she was the "enforcer" assigned to keep me and my sisters in line. We got to know her much better when she lived in Clovis during WWII. We all loved her and loved being around her but we had to watch for her "zingers'. She had the greatest sense of humor of anyone I have ever known and when she got that impish grin on her face you had better watch out. She will be sorely missed. God bless her.

I have such great memories of Phyllis. She had the most wonderful smile. She always made us laugh as children. She was a playmate with our mom as a child. As a teenager my mom took care of Pam and Cam when they were 3 for awhile after Tommy was born and had medical problems. I loved Phyllis and all her family. I know she is making the angels laugh. She was fun to be around.

Phyllis, my cousin, had such a great sense of humor - - - - smiling so often. I remember when she used to come to New Mexico to visit, it was such a joy to us. She was a delightful person. and kept us smiling! My heart goes out to her precious children and family. May God give you peace and comfort, as you cherish the good memories. My heart felt thoughts for the Bryan family in your loss of such a wonderful person, Phyllis. What a beautiful smile! She could always light up the room. She was my mentor at church when the hearing were learning ASL from the non-hearing. She would work with me and my husband at each class over several weeks. And when we met in the church halls she would always sign to us. What a precious, sweet lady she was. She was a real jewel...Blessings...Beverly Oakes

"Granny Bryan" as I knew her was such a delightful person to know. She always made you feel special anytime you were in her presence; always smiling and taking pictures. I was always amazed at her energy and willingness to go anywhere. One special memory is of her on an inner tube floating a cold creek, laughing and taking pictures. I have been blessed just to know her. She was a very special lady and friend.

I first met Mrs. Bryan when she drove our basketball team to games. She was an enthusiastic supporter of Natalie and the whole team. Years later, I had the honor of attending church with her. Her willingness to reach out to the hearing community through deaf choir, the drama group and her radiant smile inspired me to learn basic ASL so I could get to know her better.

Phyllis is great example of a life lived well and I will miss her. Family and friends and in my prayers.

This is what I posted on the FB: How fitting that the sun has dimmed today for I heard that a bright and sunny personality, Phyllis Bryan had passed away this morning. She is 91 years old.
