Randy, my dearest Brother, I miss you. I'm glad you were my brother, but I sure do wish we had been closer together before you died. Your dying hit me hard, and I'm just now finally picking up the pieces and living again. I loved you with all my heart and soul, and I miss you dearly.
I want to thank all of those who signed this guestbook and left their memories here. It has been of great help to me to read the kindness and compassion of your words.

Randy truly has a spirit as bright as the sun, his light touched so many people. He was honorable yet humble, compassionate and as dedicated as one person can be to family and justice. He is so sorely missed.
Christi, your Dad loved you so much, he spoke about you endlessly and just beamed with pride at what a wise and independent woman you are, at what a wonderful mother you are. I'm so sorry for your and your family's loss, but I feel so fortunate to have known your Dad. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I have known Randy for several years, and we witnessed each other go through profound changes. He will be greatly missed, but will live on in our memories and our hearts. He was and will remain an inspiration for me, personally.
My heart goes out to his family, know he was loved by many.

Too young, too soon. Our deepest sympathies to the family of Randy Covey. Randy came from a wonderful family, full of love and happiness. He lost his mom at such an early age, but is now back in her loving arms once again. Sasha, we were first cousins with his mother, Barbara. Barbara's mother and my dad were siblings. We never got to meet you because our families lived so far away from each other. I have been in contact with a couple of Randy's older sisters from time to time, so kept up with the news about the family that way. We are so sorry for the loss of your Dad at such an early age. I can't imagine what you are going through right now. We both lost our parents, but they had lived a long life, where Randy had so much to live for yet. Just know that he is by God's side now, no more pain. He is enjoy seeing his mother and both sets of grandparents once again as he had such great love for them all. Love and prayers for you and your family. Nancy (Grimmer) Verkuilen, and Ron Verkuilen.
