RICHARD CONTE

CONTE Richard Vincent Conte, Jr. 40, passed away suddenly on September 19, 2013. He was born to Dr. Richard and Alice Conte on November 10, 1972 in New Rochelle, NY. Richard grew up in Ridgefield, CT, where he worked for the High School TV station. Richard attended the University of Arizona. He was a wonderful writer and aspired to write a novel. He loved working on cars and his motorcycle but most of all he loved being with his sons Spencer and Harrison. Richard was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank Conte, Herbert and Betty Feist. He is survived by his parents, Dr. Richard and Alice Conte; sons, Spencer Tate Gammon and Harrison Lee Conte; sisters, Emilie Christenson (Dale) and Betty Hustler (Mark); grandmother, Angela Conte, and his loving nieces. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm on Friday, September 27, at Ponte Vedra Valley, 4750 Palm Valley Rd., Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, 32082. A Memorial Service will be held the following day at 11:00 am, Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Ponte Vedra Valley. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
