GUSTAFSON Sandra Sandy Gale Dobbs Gustafson, age 56, of Lawtey, Florida passed away May 12, 2013 at North Florida Regional Medical Center with family by her side. Sandy was born on April 1, 1957 to Arlie J. Dobbs and Peggy Sue Mitchell Dobbs. Sandy was a member of Northside Baptist Church and attended Trinity Christian Academy in Jacksonville, FL. She was exceptionally gifted in music and could play the piano, organ, and could sing so well, that it earned her a music scholarship. However, instead of the music she chose the love of her husband Wayne. Sandy was also known as a Bingo enthusiast and was an avid Gator and Denver Broncos fan. She was also a wonderful cook and was loved by all. Sandy is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Wayne Gustafson of Lawtey, FL; her parents, Arlie and Peggy Dobbs of Lawtey, FL; her daughters, Krissy Gustafson Hocter, Lawtey, FL and Anna Nikole Gustafson of Island Grove, FL; her brother, Michael Mike (Laurie Bergeron) Dobbs; her sister, Christina Chris (Ralph Jay) Dobbs Williams; her granddaughter Savannah Leigh Hocter; her nieces Laura Dobbs Isaacson, Rachel Reeves, and Jennie Williams, and numerous cousins. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 11:00 am at Northside Baptist Church with Pastor Lester Austin officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. To Wayne and Krissy, Dinah and I remember you two and think about you often. I am reading this 10 years after the fact. I can't believe Sandy is no longer with us. We had so much fun with you two in Kings Bay Ga as neighbors. We think of you often.
